Autofill didn't fill a field
What the green and yellow highlights mean and how to fix common issues.
- Green outline: filled from your profile.
- Yellow outline: needs your review — a drafted answer, a sensitive question, or a value Applyd wasn't sure about.
- No outline: Applyd didn't touch it (already filled, unknown, or skipped).
Common fixes
- Nothing happened: click “Enable on this site” in the side panel so Chrome lets Applyd read the form, then try again.
- A field was skipped: check your profile has that information (e.g. notice period in Common answers).
- A dropdown has the wrong option: pick the right one — Applyd matches the option text closest to your profile answer.
- The resume wasn't attached: some sites only accept Word files; Applyd sends a .docx automatically when a form doesn't accept PDFs. If it still fails, attach it manually from Documents.
- Fields you already typed weren't changed: that's on purpose. Tick “Overwrite fields I already filled” if you want Applyd to replace them.
Use “Report a problem” in the side panel. It sends us the site and field counts (never your answers) so we can fix it for everyone.
